Inside the VIP’s hotel suite, everything was quiet.
Room service had arrived minutes earlier: a perfectly seared steak, buttery mashed potatoes, and a bottle of deep red Cabernet wine rested neatly on the dining table.
Power had a taste and it tasted expensive.
The VIP sat at the head of the table with a relaxed and composed posture. His movements were slow and precise as he sliced through the steak with ease. The steam from the dishes carried the warm scent of garlic and butter through the suite.
