"Are you sure that she is the girl from your past, Dave?" asked Kay when she was in her superior's room.
"Are you doubting me, Kay?" asked Davero in a cold tone.
"It's not like that, but..." Key did not continue his words.
"Are you two uncomfortable working with me?" Davero asked, annoyed.
"You're taking things too seriously, boss!" Key replied with a wry smile.
"Yes, don't take it too personally, boss!" Kay said calmly, all of which made the corners of Dave's lips lift.
"Find out about Agneta's life, who is her husband and her child's biological father, understand?" Dave asked to make sure once again and made his two friends nod.
"Yes alright. We'll start right away, boss. So don't worry, all matters are handled by experts." Kay and Key smiled, looking at each other.
"Seeing you guys like that actually looks so cute and adorable," Davero commented with a grin.
"Then we'll excuse you," said Kay, to which Key nodded, and they smiled wryly.
The two of them stepped out of the room and accidentally bumped into Aiden, whose room was not far from Davero's.
"Hello, we meet again." Aiden was greeted with a friendly smile.
"Hi," said Key with a smile as he approached to shake hands.
"There is another task, huh?" he asked.
"That's it; it looks like he can't be compromised," said Key, a little annoyed.
"It seems that a woman is very special to be able to make her world change like that. He's like a hungry lion, right?" teased Aiden.
Yeah, I'm not playing. He even sprayed us several times, even though yesterday our task was flawlessly completed." Kay chimed in.
"I pay the three of you not to gossip in front of my door!" said Davero, looking out the door, making Kay and Key jump in surprise and immediately turn to the source of the sound. "It's really not right to openly talk about me!"
"We just-"
"I didn't expect that the three of you had a hobby of gossiping about your own superiors," Dave said, shaking his head.
"You're taking it too seriously," protested Aiden. "We talk about you because we love you so much, brother."
What lovely words you have spoken, Cousin Brother! Dave's quip made Aiden smile even more.
Kay and Key sneaked in quietly to get away from the tantrum that might soon break out.
"Okay, I need you. This is a matter of our cooperation with Mahya's company," said Aiden while embracing Davero.
"That's your business, Aiden. You've already agreed. Right now, I want to go out." Dave answered calmly as he walked away.
"Master Okta wants to see you in person, Dave. Come on, where is your responsibility?" asked Aiden, who stopped Dave's footsteps.
"Does he have a daughter?" he asked.
"I don't know. So what?" he asked.
"Then you better meet him. I've met clients like that many times, and in the end they asked me to approach their daughter," said Davero confidently.
"You're too confident," Aiden said knowingly.
"I've always been confident," Dave said, still calm and making Aiden pout his lips slightly.
"Okay, after thinking about it, maybe I'll meet him later," said Aiden.
"It is better."
Dave walked away, leaving Aiden. He walked into the elevator, his eyes fixed on a small dot while his mind drifted to think of Agneta's child, who for some reason kept bothering him.
***
Agneta had just finished her work; that day there was so much work that she forgot to eat her lunch. Her watch was already showing two o'clock in the afternoon. Agneta went into the toilet and washed her face to make it look fresher.
"It's okay to go to the canteen below," he muttered to himself as he took out his cell phone to send a message to Sonya.
I'll go find some food first.
That's the content of the message sent. Then Agneta walked out of the toilet and screeched as her forehead hit something hard as she opened the bathroom door.
"Ouch," said Agneta, rubbing her own forehead.
"Is your forehead okay?" someone asked.
That question made Agneta widen her eyes and tilt her head back. His eyes bulged perfectly when he saw who was standing in front of him and getting hit.
"What are you doing here?" asked Agneta fearfully.
"I'm looking for you," he said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Is there any work that I need to finish, Mr. Davero?" asked Agneta curtly.
"A lot," he said, pushing Agneta back into the toilet.
"This is the women's restroom. What are you doing!?" Agneta screamed when Davero grabbed both arms and cornered Agneta's body behind the bathroom door, which had been closed again.
"I know, and no one will scold me here," he answered with a grin that made Agneta even more scared.
"What do you want, Davero?"
"You! I told you I wanted you!" Davero answered emphatically.
"I'm not an item!" snapped Agneta while trying to escape.
"I know, and I still want you," he said, holding Agneta's hands, which kept pushing against his chest with one grip.
He kept Agneta's hands above her head and pressed them against the wall to make it difficult for her to move. Both of her legs had also held Agneta's legs, so she couldn't struggle.
"Let me go!" Agneta kept trying to rebel. "Let go of me, or I will scream!" he threatened.
"Try!" Davero challenged.
"Tolmmmmmpppp." Agneta widened her eyes when Dave kissed her roughly and became softer and softer.
"I've got my morphine back, finally!" whispered Dave, kissing Agneta again.
Agneta was getting weaker after Dave's hot games. Something that hasn't been felt in a long time but is so missed. His first kiss was both intoxicating and painful. Agneta's knees went limp, almost falling apart if Davero didn't press her body. Meanwhile, Davero is getting crazier.
Plak!
"Fuck!" Agneta cursed through her tears.
After the slap, he got out of the toilet, leaving Davero still frozen in place. Agneta ran down the hall of the office with her mouth closed; her tears kept rolling down her cheeks.
Agneta wondered why the man was still hurting her, always forcing things that Agneta didn't want. He hid on the fire escape and sat on one of the steps. He was crying uncontrollably. The wound is still wide open, the pain is still felt, and everything has not healed completely. It's even worse now that you have to add new wounds. Agneta hated Davero even more. She hated him so much.
