(Faran's POV)

I found myself in a situation about to be confronted by Rosh, as the battle raged on.

The enemies were gallant in their offensive.

Maybe, I was wrong to have ruled their invasion unsuccessful.

Not long after I sent Jal after Alpha Rosh, I stayed back to see what would become of him.

Just as I predicted, Rosh inflicted only a deep bite and Jal fell dead.

He did not let Jal go even after killing him.

He bites off his jaw. In that way, Rosh succeeded in assimilating any power left in Jal.

Although the scene was gruesome, it was what I have always wanted for Jal....
