(Elena's POV)

The Alpha king was enraged. He choked Faran until the latter was pleading for his dear life.

"I'm sorry father! It will never happen again!" cried Faran.

His cry was too late to make the heart of the Alpha king mellow.

"You are good for nothing!" yelled the Alpha king. He choked Faran for some time before, shoving him to the ground. He was not done with him yet. He queried angrily. "What about the Poison that was supposed to make her wolf not show?"

Faran was crawling on his knees. It was as if he was about to take to his heels. Nevertheless, he couldn't muster enough...
