《Adam Blake》

It's been a week after the outing. Well, I think I miss the moments with Aireen, a bit, maybe. What the hell is going on me lately?

The more I think about it, the more I'm getting confuse.

Nick was calling us for a meeting, I mean all students who in dorm 1 and dorm 3. The sport festival will start in 2 days and we need to get prepare, by a lot. Wait...wait....dorm 3 huh, Aireen will be in the meeting too...hehe. I was smiling in my thought and starting to blush.

"Why are you blushing?" A man figure suddenly appeared in front of me. His black-pearl eyes examining my face and he stands too close, inches away from my face.

"No, I'm not!" I quickly respond, pushing him away. "Too close dude."

"Tskk." His trademark sound again, making me irritating of him right away. "It's must be that new girl right? I saw the way you treat her, dope. Are you finally move on from my girlfriend?"

Usually I can just protest without hesitation, but now I can't even deny it. She become special to me, since the first time I met her. I always feel like I want to protect her and make her happy as much as I can.

"I don't know, man." Ahh...I'm really confused right now. Lately, my heart doesn't flutter when Sierra was around. I was no longer yearn to hold her hands or even try to hug her. My love to her just...suddenly, vanish. But this weird feeling I feel to another girl, making my heart beating so fast when she is around me, especially when she sit beside me everyday in class.

Sam patted my shoulder. "Come on dope, stop chasing Sierra. She's my girlfriend after all."

I look at his face, still in confusion. I then move my eyes down to the floor, trying to think. What is this weird feeling? Did I finally move on from Sierra?

"Hey, let's go idiot. Stop thinking about this for a while. Everyone is waiting for us." Sam poked my forehead waking me up from that thought.

I just nodded and follow him to the student hangout where everyone is waiting.

Aireen stood beside me; she is about my shoulder level, I think. She wears a white t-shirt with long lavender cardigan and a black legging. Her beautiful raven hair tied in ponytail. She looks cute, though. Sometimes, I took a glance at her, hoping that she wasn't notice it.

"Okay guys, as all you may already know. The sport festival between dormitory is in 2 days. Since last year wasn't fair enough because guys dormitory have to compete against girl's, so this year we will team up with girls from Dorm 3." Nick briefed while pacing out and I heard some guys were cheering as they heard the girls will be join us. "Our team is going to win no matter what." This time the cheer become very loud as some of the girls also joining the guys.

"Okay quiet!" Huh, that genius truly looks like a leader now. "Besides, there will be awards party after the event end."

Okay this is interesting. It had been a long time since I went to a party. That last party when I had to drag home the drunk Pervy Uncle at his friend's house. That's totally embarrassing. Cameron and me also joining the cheering.

Nick shushed us again. "Adam, Sam, both of you will be in swimming team as representative our dorm. Is that okay?"

I stunned with his words and everyone eyes were on at me right now. Why swimming? W-why must be swimming? A dark past, a very painful one, suddenly haunting me. The past that scare me so much, the day I lost both of my beloved parents.

"Are you listening Adam?" Nick snapped his fingers. That genius already stood in front of me.

I don't know what to say right now. I'm feel so scare, that past keep flashing in my mind. I saw a man was trying to save me who was drowning.

"What a loser," a voice said from the right side of the room and heard him and some of the guys were laughing. "Nick, I never saw him swim in the swimming class before. How come you ask him to be our representative?"

"He is a scaredy-cat and useless." Another guy interfered.

Sierra was outraged and trying to defend me. She already knew about my past, well her parents and mine were bestfriends long ago. So do Sam's.

"Hey you jerk!" Shouted Sierra. "Shut the hell up!" She even tighten her fist, getting ready to punch him.

"Ooo....that's so scary." Troy, the voice owner who started this mess and mocking Sierra. That jerk is really rude. How dare he mocking my friend! The rage feeling start to surround me and my fist was ready to land on that asshole face.

"Enough!" Nick shouted, looking straight into his face.

I gritted my teeth, trying to control my anger, but a very soft-small hand suddenly holding my right hand and guess who, it was Aireen's. She was trying to calm me down. Eventhough, she didn't look at me and seems calm, but I saw a tint blush on her cheeks as I took a glance at her.

I told Nick that I will represent our dorm in soccer. He agreed right away; maybe felt a little guilt in that little arguement.

Sam and Sierra were in swimming team, Nia and Jake will play in tennis, Aireen and Nick will represent the fencing sport since they were expert in it, and Lee, oh I forgot to mention him. Jason Lee is one of my friends and I call him Bushy Brows because he has a very ugly thick eyebrows. He is a year older than me and always mention about youth this....youth that...Besides, he also take way seriously in exercising, and always challenge me in everything. I respect him so much but sometimes he is really dumb, more dumber than me. Okay, he is with Taylor, Cameron and Tamaki, the athletes in 400 metres race.

And the last one is soccer the final competition in this festival.

We've been practicing a lot before the event start. That Principal Trevor even gave the classes exception to us and all students who involve with the event.

St John Academy Sport Festival

The day which all students have been waiting was finally arrive. All of them were assembly at the school field. Students from Dorm 1 and 3 (Team 1) were wearing similar orange t-shirt while the students from Dorm 2 and 4 (Team 2) were wearing the cream t-shirt to differentiate between both of the teams. All teachers were standing both side of the small stage which in front of all the students while the principal was on the stage with her personal assistant.

"It's starting to get lively," Sheryy told Principal Trevor as she saw their students were full with determination with the loud cheering filling the wide field.

"Yes, that's to be expected since St John Academy's great event is about to begin," her assistant, Sheryy replied. "It'd be strange if it didn't get lively."

Principal Trevor laughed before making her way to the microphone at the center of the stage and the surrounding become quiet for a moment.

"Okay, since everyone is here, I will announce that, the event starts...now."

The loud cheering sounded more blasting then earlier followed by the music from the marching band.

400 metres:

Lee and Taylor with the other 3 students were represent Team 1. Lee won the competiton with a blink of eye since he loves sport so much. Taylor quite struggling against Tayuya who ran fast enough and she lost the match.

Both of the team score 1 point.

Swimming:

Sam and Sierra with 2 other students were the representatives of Team 1. The young Brody will compete against Suigetsu along with his teammates for the male swimmer. But, Sam seems to be no where. Everyone was looking for him even tried to call his phone, but still no answer.

Where is that jerk? How could he left Sierra alone in this match. I was in the locker room looking for that jerk, Sam, when I heard Sierra was sobbing heavily while Aireen trying to calm her.

I feel so bad for her, right now. I never seen her crying like this before. The match was postponed for half an hour and Sam will be disqualify if he still didn't appear.

"Well well well," a red hair girl in swimming suit approached them. A blond hair girl with light purple eyes was following behind her. "Sam left you isn't he, Sierra?"

She pretended to ask her that question, I bet to hurt Sierra more.

"Shut up, Karen!" Shouted Sierra while sobbing. "Just go away!"

They didn't care what Sierra has said, but instead laughing at her.

"Accept that Sam didn't loves you." Karen added. "He even left you alone."

"Karen, just go away please." The angelic voice defending Sierra in a very polite manner that make my heart fluttering right away. I breathe in with my eyes close, and my arm was on my chest.

"Oh my god, the alien is actually can talk." Okay now she triggered my anger. The girls that with Karen were trying to mess around with Aireen. They even poking her face, playing with her hair and even taking picture of her, maybe to spread to the whole school that she being bullied.

I walked towards them with the briskly pace.

"Karen, Sally, stop it will you!" All eyes on me, and both of them looked surprised.

"Oh Adam, what are you doing here?" Sally sounds peppy when saw me and grabbing my arm trying to flirt me. Well Sally is totally into me, but I don't even like her. She is a spoil rich girl who tends to get everything she wants.

I pushed aside her hand from my arm, ignoring her question, then facing towards Aireen. "Are you okay?" Her beautiful hair looked messed up right now, without even thinking I remove her hair from covering most of her face. My action maybe made Karen and Sally especially, were fuming. They hate Aireen so much, since the first day she came to this school.

"Why are you helping her? You suppose to be....arghh..."Sally frustrated with my action, and leaving us while pulling Karen's hand by force.

"You know Sierra, I will beat you!" Karen shouted for the last time before vanish from our sight.

"They are so annoying, you know," my gaze was into her beautiful lavender eyes. I felt my hands were trembling in a sudden, then quickly hide it in my short's pockets.

"T-thanks, Adam." I saw her flipped her hair before tied it into ponytail. Oh my god, my heart beating so fast like it will burst from my chest anytime. S-he is so beautiful.

"A-Adam, where is Sam? Did you find him?" Sierra sounds like still in sobbing. Geez, I totally forgot about her was still crying. I got all angry because Aireen being bullied.

"I-I still don't know where is that jerk." I stuttered. Wait, did I just sttuttered? What the hell is going on me?

Aireen sat on the bench beside Sierra trying calm her down again. I scratching back of my hair for a while before kneel down in front of Sierra. Her watery green eyes were on my face. "I will find him, I promise."

Suddenly, my phone was buzzing in my pocket, and the caller was Cameron. I quickly answer his call. "Hey Cameron.....what...that Trevor wants to start the match already? But Sam.....who's gonna replace him?....What do you mean you don't know, idiot...How about Shay?....He's sick?....What the hell....Okay...okay...we'll come over right now."

We went to the swimming pool where the game takes place. All spectators were here including’s Principal Trevor and the teachers. They were waiting for the athletes from Team 1 and Team 2.

Unexpectedly, I heard loud cheering coming from my team as they saw Mr Hale with that jerk, Sam.

He's finally here, huh.

"I'm sorry we're late," said Mr Hale. His trademark words again.

"S-Sam," Sierra seems surprised.

They walked towards us and all girls were screaming as Sam walking passed them. Still acting cool, huh, dude.

"He made it in time," Lee appeared beside me from nowhere.

"What the fuck! He's late." Sierra pinched my ear immediately, after heard what I said. Alright, she's back to normal now, being overboard again. "Owww, it's hurt Sierra."

Geez, he's caused a lot trouble for us and he doesn't look sorry at all but instead acting like cool a bastard. Damn you Sam!

"You were awfully late, dude!" He was now in front of us. "I thought you weren't going to come. You're almost to get disqualify."

He gave us his smirk. "I'm gonna be here no matter what, Idiot."

I chuckled. "Say sorry to Sierra 'cause you've made her cried. Or else..."

He interrupted me by hugging Sierra tightly and whispered something before poked on her forehead. That scene...it's no longer made me jealous of them. I finally move on from Sierra, am I?

"Alright, without wasting any time, let's get start, now," the judge announced to the all swimmers.

"Good luck, Sam, Sierra." Aireen wished them a good luck before leaving with Lee and me.

The game starts with the male swimmer match. Sam managed to beat the Team 2 athletes in a very cool way that annoyed me so much. He always does that, and every girls were crazier about him. But Aireen, she didn't seems impress by Sam's coolness. She's different, I think I might be like her.

Sierra also won in the female match, beating that bitch, Karin. She seems livelier after Sam came back. Sierra must loves him so much...that's good though, I'm happy for her.

Currently, the score for

Team 1: 3 and Team 2 : 1.

The Team 2 beats us in tennis game as Nia got injured with her shoulder when she tried to smash the opponent. So do that squishy Jake, he became exhausted so fast, distracted with Nia's injury and he lost the game. He shouldn't played in tennis instead just doing his art things.

Fencing:

Team 1 athletes, Nick and Aireen against Kendall and Sally from the Team 2. The game that I have been waiting for, to look my Aireen skill, did I just call her 'my Aireen'. Oopps....I think I really fall for her. But she might not even like me, because I'm an idiot and she's a genius also from a rich family. Totally living in two different worlds. She's just too good for me.

Nick easily beats Kendall with his perfect skill in fencing. Kendall looked outrageous as Nick defeated him in very shameful way. He even whispered something to Sally but I can't hear it because he was too far away from my seat. Maybe they want to do something to Aireen. She might get hurt. I should warn her.

《Aireen Hermann》

I was getting ready for my turn when Adam suddenly approaching me. He seems worry about something, I can see it in his eyes.

"A-are you okay, Adam," I asked him. He stood in front of me, grabbing my hands that making me jump a little.

"I saw Kendall whispered something to Sally after Nick beaten him. I'm scare something bad will happen to you. I know Sally, she will do everything to get something." Adam was worrying about me? How can that be? "You be careful okay."

He force himself to smile at me. He looks so serious.

"D-don't worry, I'm stronger than you think," I gave him a hope, a hope which I'm not sure that I can fulfil. He tightened his grip of my hands. His look, the way he looks at me, it just the same as that day. The look when looking at someone he loves. It can't be that he loves me? He loves Sierra. That's right, Sierra.

"Miss Hermann, please step forward." The judge called me.

"I-I have to go," I said. He just nodded and released his grip from my hands. I gave him a smile before wear my fencing mask and take my epee. I glanced at him for the last time before making my way to the narrow fencing strip where my opponent, Sally was standing. We were standing close to greet each other before taking our positions.

"We meet again, weirdo. I felt a bit offense of you earlier. Adam will never be with you, alien. He's mine, mine only." She sounds a bit harsh. But I ignored her, I must get ready in both physically and mentally before the match start.

The referees checks our gears and epees to make sure it all reaches the safety standards. The judge gave us about 3 minutes each three rounds to complete the match. I have to inspect her first, before making my strategy to touches her 15 times to win this match.

The match starts, Sally was really fast moving, and she even scored a point before I could do my move. Okay, she's fast. I have to work on my defends and look for her weak points. We start again and for the first round she defeats me.

"Aireen, you can do it. Beat her!" Adam shouted at me trying to pep me up.

Thank you, Adam. I will do my best, I promise.

The match become fierce for the third round. My score was 13 and hers was 12. I won for the second round and we were draw now. For this final round, I need to score two more to win.

But suddenly, Sally slipped and fell on me. My left wrist hurts so badly because she fell right onto my left arm. I don't know if she pretends to fall or not because I can't see her face. I even heard Adam screamed my name as I fell and he's surely concerns about me. Oww, I think I my wrist was sprained. But I have to endure it, I need two more points, two more to win this match for Adam and for our team.

"Aireen, are you okay?" He's surely a noisy guy. But I love the way he is. He tried to walk pass the referees, but instead get scolded from them. Silly Adam.

"I'm okay," I lied when a referee asked my condition. I took my epee which lying beside me and get into my position again. Just two more points, I have to endure it.

The match starts again, luckily I managed to defeat Sally with my strategy. She surely fast but my defense was better, I took my chance when she carelessly opened her weak points after tried to attack me.

The judges announced me as the winner, and I was about to fall from exhaustion when someone caught me.

"Good job, Aireen." That husky voice, the voice of my long time crush, Adam. "You've done well." He grinned widely. His perfect jawline, his cherry lips, his ocean blue eyes that will drown me and his special messy bronze hair; all of that features make me totally in love with him. I love you, Adam. In a sudden, my eyes become so heavy and everything went dark.
