Mr Joel's Point of View
I walked into the class. It was fucking noisy. I like and dislike this class. They are brilliant but noisy. I jingled the bell before the class came to order.
" Good morning Mr Joel," the class greeted.
" Morning," I replied with an all serious look.
" We are sorry," the class apologised.
I like them fit this too. They are apologetic.
" You don't have to be," I said smiling," Yes, you have to be," I almost shouted.
" Same Mr Joel," the class laughed.
That has been our way of ending any misunderstanding between us. I guess I am their best teacher.
" This morning I am teaching you a topic: Inductance," I said.
" Inductance? What is Inductance?" Mabel asked.
" Who can answer that?" I questioned.
Some of the students raised their hands. I chose a boy.
" Yes Joseph," I said.
" Inductance is the property of an electric circuit that causes an electromotive force," Joseph answered.
" You are almost correct but almost is still a fail," I said.
Joseph sat.
" Anyone else?" I asked.
Allison raised her hand.
" Ok. Let's hear you out," I said.
" Inductance is the property of an electric conductor or circuit that causes an electromotive force to be generated by a change in the current flowing," Allison responded.
" Well, that is ........," I paused.
I could see anxiety in the students' faces. Allison looked sure of her answer but she was still nervous.
" That is a correct answer," I replied.
" Cheers Allison," the class thumbs Allison.
Allison smiled.
" The Système International Unit, that is, the SI Unit is the name of a student," I said.
" Who? Me? Allison?" the class became noisy again.
I had to jingle the bell harder before there was total silence.
" The SI Unit is Henry," I said," Where is Henry?" I questioned.
Henry's Point of View
" I am right under the desk," I said.
Everyone looked in my direction. I could see the surprise on Allison and Brayon's faces. I guess I will have to do much explanation after the class.
" Why under the desk?" Mr Joel asked.
" I guess I don't know," I smiled.
Mr Joel continued teaching. I could sense that Brayon and Allison were feeling uneasy. I was sure curiosity is eating them up. At last, the bell was jingled for lunch. I ran out of the class before either Brayon or Allison could stop me.
I ordered Brayon and Allison's favourite food. I knew they would be on their way to the cafeteria.
" Where have you been?" Brayon asked.
" Where have I been?" I feigned surprise," I have been in the class," I replied.
" You weren't in the class before. Where were you?" Allison twisted my wrist.
" Please Ally," I pleaded.
" Ok but you know you are not allowed to call me Ally," Allison let go of my wrist.
" I just forget a lot," I said.
" Forget next time and get twisted," Allison said.
All this while, Brayon was eating. I guess he is very hungry.
" Brayon is too hungry to join our conversation," I said.
" I was awaiting your reply," Brayon said.
" Arrghhhh," I grunts.
" Tell me where you were. You got me worried," Allison said.
" While I was coming to school, I didn't take the normal route. I took another route entirely," I replied.
" So?" Brayon raised an eyebrow.
" It was a long way. A very long way. I almost got lost. I had to turn back to take the normal route to school," I said.
" That served you right," Brayon said.
" Yeah," Allison laughed," Why was your phone switched off? How did you enter the class unnoticed?" Allison asked.
Brayon's Point of View
I wanted to ask that question. Since Allison has asked, I await Henry's answer.
" I put my phone in flight mode because I know you guys will call me but I wanted to go on an adventure," Henry smiled.
" Ok. Then tell us how you entered unnoticed," I asked.
" I flew the window, crawled till I got under my desk," Henry said.
" You are lucky," I smiled.
" Lucky me," Henry smiled.
" Ally told me something in the morning," I said.
" You aren't allowed to call me that," Allison twisted my wrist.
I wished I had seen that coming.
" What did Allison tell you?" Henry asked curiously.
Allison's Point of View
" I'll tell you myself," I said.
" I can't wait to hear it," Henry was excited to hear what I had to say.
Brayon continued eating his meal.
" While I was coming to school this morning, a cowboy kissed me," I said.
Henry frowned but he quickly hide it with a smile; I had seen it already anyway.
" Is he your boyfriend?" Henry asked.
" I don't know who the hell he is," I replied.
" Well?" Henry shrugged and smirked.
I like that look on him. Let's talk about me a little. Brayon, Henry and I have been friends since our childhood. They are my best friends. I also got another friend who is a female. Her name is Janet. You'll get to know her later.
I have a crush on Henry or I rather say I love Henry. I don't know if he loves me too but he doesn't like it when I talk about other boys in his presence.
Henry's Point of View
I hated the fact that Allison had to tell me about the cowboy who kissed her. I love her but I don't know how to express my love for her; I am afraid it might affect our friendship. She shouldn't have mentioned the cowboy's kiss now I am pissed off. I tried to conceal my anger and I guess I succeeded.
" I want to use the restroom," I said.
Allison and Brayon nodded. I left. I went to the restroom. I let out my anger. I frowned, banged my leg, washed my face, towelled it and went back to the cafeteria.
