I was fucked up over Liam, my best friend's dad, for longer than I wanted to admit. 

A whole year, maybe more. 

It started innocently enough. Hanging at Mia’s place after school, crashing on their couch during movie nights, stealing glances whenever he walked through the living room in those worn gray sweatpants that did nothing to hide the thick outline of him. 

There was nothing innocent after that first real look.

Liam was forty five.  Broad shoulders, thick arms, his chest sexy as hell.

A voice that sounded like gravel wrapped in decadence. And that permanent beard that made me imagine how it would scrape the insides...
