The door to the science lab creaked open and I peeked into the dimly lighted room, my heart racing in my chest.

It had taken me several speeches in my head to make me come here. I still couldn't wrap my head around everything that had happened today. How could I? And now, here I was aching for him.

Shamelessly hoping for more from him.
