BRITTANY'S POV
The chair felt like steel under me.
The class was empty and I was sitting right in front of Mr. Allen's desk, my heart racing in my chest as I held my breath.
The last student had left about 10 minutes and I had been sitting here since then. But he hadn't said anything.
He was standing by the window, a hand in his pocket while the other was wrapped around the mug of cold juice while he continued to sip slowly as he stared at the sun dipping below the horizon in the distance.
I didn't understand. Why hadn't he said anything? Why hadn't he even looked...
