I had never been this nervous in my whole life.

It suddenly felt like everyone was looking at me a bit more as I walked into the empty part of the cathedralㅡ moving in the opposite direction of the other sisters who were moving for the evening mass.

There was no one else in this hallway, it meant that Father Matthias had planned it all so there would be no distractions.
