After I left Erica's ward at the clinic, I drove down to the female hostel and found out that Sophia was not there. I reached for my phone to call her to find out where she was.

"Hello," I said

"hello sweetheart" she answered

teasingly, making me feel a bit irritated.

"Where are you?" I said, trying to let my annoyance show in my voice.

"I'm in your apartment" she answered, I quickly did a brain scan to check if by accident I have ever given her keys to my apartment. She is not supposed to have access.
