Three days have passed since Fathia's parents passed away
06 June 2014
Tian did not play with giving him information. When they arrived, her house was already full of family members from her mother's side and her father's side. They all looked at Fathia with interest. Like ready to give they head for the fifteen-year-old girl to restrain. Fathia was horrified to see all of them. She tightened her grip on Tian, who didn't move from anywhere but her side.
"I'm scared, Tian," Fathia whispered as they sat in the living room. Some Fathia knew him. Some didn't.
Tian, who heard Fathia's complaint, slightly looked down at her—trying to calm her down. "There is me. Calm down."
And they put themselves right next to someone Fathia knew as her father's colleague, Ronald Nasution. She had time to shake hands and heard the condolences on the lips of the middle-aged man.
"Everything is assembled I think." Ronald started to speak, making the whispers that had been heard for a long time stop.
The atmosphere there then was quiet. Ronald glanced at the youngest daughter of the person he had always respected. Not just a co-worker, the relationship between him and Alvin is more than family. Ronald also doesn't hesitate if Felice asks him for help because he considers Felice to be like his own son.
Knowing Alvin died in such a tragic way, a different desire arose in Ronald's mind. Is it true that this accident is pure? Or is there sabotage? Maybe the work will be challenging after this, but he is ready. Especially when he remembered a week ago, Alvin ridiculously sent an email, which made him come to his friend's office without hesitation—chasing Alvin with many questions that surprised Ronald.
"The will is necessary, Ron. You don't know something like that?" Alvin joked at that time. At first, Ronald responded to the joke with a relieved smile but finding the news of the accident made him reflect. Is that a sign?
"I, Ronald Nasution, hereby declare that I have been authorized for and on behalf of Alvin Mehram Clairine, SE, as his personal attorney. In this case, working under personal auspices for and on behalf of the Clairine nuclear family. Including Mr. Alvin Mehram Clairine as the power of attorney, along with Mrs. Rossie Putri Sanjaya and their two daughters, Felice Leah Clairine and Fathia Bernessia Clairine."
One by one, the people there, Ronald looked. They all chose to wait. Ronald knew what they were staying. He felt like he wanted to smile with joy, but a reasonably high fear also accompanied him.
"And with a power of attorney given, I at this moment can legally read out the will written by a power of attorney, in this case Mr. Alvin Mehram Clairine, SE." Ronald took a breath. He had read the will before, all the points listed there made his brow furrow in surprise, but after getting a somewhat reasonable explanation, where he agreed with Alvin's thoughts, he opened it slowly.
"Good morning, all my brothers and sisters. And especially for my beloved daughter, Fathia, how are you? I hope you are always healthy and happy. There is nothing Papa wants more than your smile that is as warm as the morning sun. Also, Felice, Papa's proud daughter forever. If Ronald has read this letter before you, it means that Papa has met God. Happy with Him. To my beloved wife, don't be sad. Just hold on for a while because I will pick you up. Waking up in the morning without a cup of your homemade coffee feels empty."
Fathia tightened her grip on Tian. Her father's warm smile is powerful in his memory of her image. She was sitting relaxing on her favorite sofa while reading a business magazine. Mommy beside her accompanied. Very happy. And now, the shadow is no longer in front of her. This situation makes Fathia tight again.
She deliberately deafened her ears, not wanting to hear anything other than knitting memories that she would never erase in her mind. The surname from the father's side got a share of the property left behind. She doesn't care. She doesn't even know his father's job because Felice always forbids her to know more than her father's office address. Felice and her father always agreed that Fathia should think about her school.
She said, "You graduated from high school before Felice told me you should know Papa's business well because we are Clairine."
"Why if we were Clairine?"
Fathia remembers that Felice laughed at her question. "We have a big responsibility, Fathia. Then you will know. Now, you were having fun in high school. Because those times will never come back."
Fathia's brow furrowed.
"Don't want to date a classmate or a guy who likes you, really?" Felice teased then. It makes Fathia get goosebumps for a moment.
"Ugh, I'm not interested."
"Ah, if the young man was as cool as Tian you would want to. Yes, right?"
It was Fathia's turn to laugh. "Maybe. Tian is cool. You are very lucky to be loved by Tian."
Felice nodded with a twinkle in her eye. "One day, a man like Tian will come for you. I'm very sure."
Until she felt something touch her shoulder. Make the memories disappear. Fathia wanted to curse anyone who touched her, but there was Tian there with a sharp look and gaze when she turned around.
"You have to be ready, Sebastian Sachdev Rendra. This is an order and you must execute it."
Then what Fathia remembered, many voices of ridicule and disapproval came from the group of her father's brothers.
"It can't be like that! This man is just an outsider! It's impossible to lead Claire!!!"
"Right! Tian is an outsider. It's not appropriate to put the highest position there. Then what are we? The servant? I don't want to!!!"
"We don't mind if Clairine is led by Fathia later. Even though Fathia is still small now, at least she will return to the rightful hands. During the waiting period, why don't we, the legal siblings of an Alvin take the place?"
"Ah, could it be you, Ronald, who made this up with that will! Just admit it, okay!"
Fathia looked at Tian questioningly while the man, who still didn't want to take his hand off her shoulder, looked one by one at everyone in this room. Fathia knows Tian's dark gesture in his eyes is scary. As if he was making a lot of calculations on what he was hearing now.
"ENOUGH!" Ronald's voice was quite loud, interrupting. Silence suddenly appeared there without warning. They looked at each other and gave Fathia and Tian a sharp look. Oh, don't forget the look of disdain that was so obvious that they just threw it at Tian.
"This letter was legitimately made before something unfortunate happened to us. Also, the points listed there are pretty straightforward. If things get out of control, a Felice can't lead the wheels of Clairine, then Sebastian Sachdev Rendra will temporarily take care of everything. The distribution of dividends will continue to run as it should and is monitored by the current legal bureaucracy. Fathia's monthly report must know it until Fathia is old enough to be twenty-three years old.
Fathia stared. Fathia’s father efforts were utterly unknown to her. And now? Ah, that's nothing compared to what Ronald said at the end of the will.
"And since this letter was read, the legal guardian who will take care of Fathia until she can lead Clairine later, is in the hands of Sebastian Sachdev Rendra."

"Morning, Fathia."
If Fathia's eyeballs could have jumped from the spot, that very second would have happened. "Aunt Mika is staying?" Her voice was surprised, but Fathia tried to ignore it. The girl forgot who Mika was here. Tian's lover.
For some reason, Fathia's eyes resemble a nine-tailed foxWhen Fathia first met Mika. There was a hint of hostility between the two of them. At first, Fathia felt that Tian had forgotten her sister. But she remembered. How could a normal, untouchable Tian not be tempted by Mika Nadine's beauty and sexy body?
The perfect couple was waiting for the news of their marriage. Once the news page reported the issue of their closeness. Fathia is angry, but what can she do? Could she resurrect Felice to kick Mika out of the stiff man's life?
"Yes. Last night I came, you were asleep." Mika flashed the sweetest smile possible, which was very fake. She wore Tian's loose shirt on purpose to get the girl out of the way. Her existence frustrates Mika.
Everything about Fathia, Tian must know and be under monitoring. No matter how small things are about Fathia, Tian must know. Even Tian knows which twenty-year-old boy's favorite food is the trivial things that Mika likes. Every time Mika asks Tian who is Fathia, she only gets a suspicious glance from Tian. Not to mention all the questions Mika gave were diverted to other chats by Tian very well.
At first, Mika didn't care, but she became uncomfortable with herself over time. There was no excellent development during the two years of their relationship. Just a portrait with a fake friendly smile, decorating many social media and business magazines. But after all that?? Tian returned to being a stiff and cold person.
While the girl wanted to destroy her smile, Tian could be so different.
Where she stood, Fathia just nodded slightly. Her eyes challenged Mika, who never lowered her level of hatred even for a moment. Fathia was never afraid of Mika. Here, it has the most critical place. Mika is just an outsider even though deep in Fathia's mind, she is jealous of the blonde beauty. Tian's attention to Fathia is focused on Mika's figure. Even Tian's shadow above Mika was almost half-naked, bursting for attention.
Unlucky.
It's a bad morning.
Her eyes darted back slowly, hoping Mika didn't notice her behavior. Her goal of paying attention to the surroundings was Tian's whereabouts. Where is that man?
"Ah, if you are looking for Uncle Tian. He's in the room. Fatigue, maybe." Mika watched Fathia out of the corner of her eye. The girl was surprised by her words. But Mika is trying to be stupid.
"Fathia goes first then. Please say goodbye Fathia. Bye, Auntie." Fathia chose to suppress the hunger that plagued her. Luckily, she was neat and ready to go to campus at any time. Hearing Mika's words just now made his stomach complete with sudden nausea. Fathia don't know why her mood just fell. Maybe the beautiful woman was right? Tian was exhausted.
"Don't want breakfast first, Fathia?"
Mika's smile was full of deceit, and she immediately replaced the look in her eyes with a witty one.
"Nope. Later Fathia will disturb Aunt Mika who wants to have a hot breakfast with Uncle Tian, right? Please. Fathia doesn't want to be bothered."
"You are very understanding, Fathia."
Fathia's blood was boiling, ready to spit out, but she held it in. Immediately she put on her shoes and pressed the button on the elevator. Also, her cell phone immediately notified her of her arrival, which was not even thirty minutes away. Elma's Cafe Amore'.
Elma and her boyfriend are making out in the morning and could be disturbed by her arrival.
While in the kitchen, Mika smiled triumphantly. Getting rid of Fathia was the main thing she would do shortly. Even though she doesn't know the relationship between Fathia and Tian, she doesn't mind. Nothing. Only a little pity is too great, and Tian has to make the girl always in the luxurious protection of her lover. That's what she thought.
"Where's Fathia?"
Mika almost dropped the spoon she was holding. She hastily greeted Tian with joy. Don't forget to smile happily to welcome the figure of the man she loves. "Morning, honey."
Tian brushed off Mika's hand that was about to run down his face. "Where's Fathia?"
"It's gone," Mika said in a tone of apparent displeasure.
Tian's brow furrowed. "Go?"
Mika rolled her eyes with evident embarrassment. "Lecture maybe."
"Studying?"
At first, Tian wanted to have breakfast with Fathia, which they hadn't done in a long time. But finding this information made Tian quite wary. He immediately grabbed his cell phone. Call someone. "Vin, Fathia's schedule for today is college?" Tian asked in a hurry when answered by the person who was his destination.
"There is but noon after lunch. What's the matter, sir?"
Without another word, Tian immediately turned off the phone. Annoyed and decided to return to his room. Ready.
"Tian, you don't want to have breakfast first?" Mika prevented. She blocks the steps of Tian, who looks uneasy. The man's face was furious.
"You eat alone, Mika. I have a meeting."
"Oh my, Tian!" Mika couldn't believe this. She had been working hard since morning, and what did he get? Good grief! "Appreciate me! Can you?"
Tian looked at Mika with a confused look. "I'm not asking you to bother, Mika. Even last night I also asked you to come home."
Mika screamed in disbelief. "You are my lover, Tian. You can't just be like me!"
"I warned you long ago, didn't I? I can't be as romantic as you want me to be."
Mika could do nothing but stare at Tian's sturdy back, who was walking toward his room. She plopped down on the sofa in frustration. Mika thought delaying the next photo shoot for a week could make her more familiar with Tian since the man had just returned from a business. But it turned out to be all just false hopes. Everything is the same.
