Adriana tightened her trembling fingers into fists, refusing to let the fear on her face reach the man before her. 

The assassin had grazed her ribs with his dagger but Mia healed them up. Erica was gone. 

That was all that mattered. 

Now she only had to survive long enough for help to arrive.
