Adriana hesitated before taking a bite of the chicken leg she had dreamt of eating.

She almost wept for joy as the meat melted in her mouth. This was heaven. This was paradise.

She felt eyes on her and saw Marcus staring at her. He hadn't touched any of the meal and he was smiling at her.

Adriana gulped down the meat and cleared her throat. “You haven't eaten.” She said politely.

Marcus glanced at the food before gazing at her. “I'll eat soon. You should also eat.” He took a lobster from a plate and broke it and then he handed her a piece. “Here, have a taste.”
