I yawned and stretched without opening my eyes, my arms reaching up to the sky. I felt the cool morning air on my skin and I enjoyed the feeling of being awake.

I knew that I was in bed, but I couldn't tell what time it was or how long I had been asleep.

I could hear the sound of people talking but I couldn't make out what they were saying.
