I was in my office trying to fix up some documents for our morning meeting when I was interrupted by my phone ringing.

I didn't bother picking up because I was in a haste to finish up so I'd go pick the kids up from school, or so I thought.

But when the phone kept ringing I had no choice but to answer it.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's me Eloise."

Smh.

I should have looked. I wouldn't have answered if I knew it was her.

"What can I do for you?" I asked almost mechanically.

"It's a business deal, I've got for you."
