"Here, have some water." I said. "Are you okay?"

She looked up at me and nodded.

I stared at her and almost teared up again. I almost lost her. Again! I felt a sharp pain in my chest, as if someone had stabbed me. It was a familiar feeling, one that I had felt hundreds of times before. The feeling of losing someone you loved. I turned away from her and almost cried.

I died a thousand times when I saw her jump into the water. All I could think about was how I would live in a world without her, the baby in her womb. I swam...
