THIRD PERSON'S POV

The smell of something delicious filled the nose of Gabe the moment he stepped into the house. He snorted and scowled knowing it was Sophia preparing something to welcome him. 'what a dummy' he thought.

He cleared his throat and put on his act. "What is this pleasant smell serenading my nose?" he asked announcing his presence as he made his way to the kitchen.

"Ahhhhh!" Sophia screamed excitedly, hugging him tightly. "You're back? I thought it would be till in the evening."
