AVA'S POV

I stood in front of the building and paced. Where the hell was he? It was 10:15 am. I walked down 8th Ave., stood under a tree, and waited. 10:25 am. 10:45 am. 11 am.

I walked to Spring St, looked at the lights on the Sperry Building. I walked to the building and saw Tony on the phone. Hopefully with Lucas.

"He's on his way." he said to me. I sighed in relief. He wasn't going to mess this up for me. I've waited for so long.

"I'm guessing he forgot?"

"That's the only explanation."
