Homecoming and a few surprises

Homecoming arrived, and I told my parents about who was taking me. They had their reservations about Keith. I told them it was okay since I attended a school dance and came home. I wanted to prove that I wasn’t a dateless loser.

I finished getting ready as the time drew near. Coop headed out and met up with the others. He offered me a ride to the dance, but I declined. These people had no faith in a guy taking me to Homecoming.

Once I put the finishing touches on, I came downstairs and waited. I had a few minutes to spare....
