I sat there on the couch in shock as Paige ate a cupcake. I’m glad she had an appetite because I lost mine.

“Pregnant?”

“Usually, that’s what happens when you have sex.” She shrugged.

“But we’re not married, and you still have to finish school.”

“Then let’s get married, and I will still finish school. Since you’re staying home, daddy.” She smirked.
