The next day, while Lisa was jogging. She received a call from the hospital that his father's condition is stable and they will shift him back to the Mental Asylum in the evening.

Lisa sighed in relief and then something came into her mind. She looked up and her eyes started searching for something.

After looking around for a While, she was sure he was not there. It was just a coincidence that happened yesterday, she continued jogging.

A deep blue gaze was looking at her back hiding behind a tree. There was a spark in his eyes and his lips curved into a smile.

"Finally" Augustus sighed deeply.

In The Hotel

Lisa arrived at Hotel. After 2 hours, her assistant Natasha came in, "Mr President has called you into his office" she informed her.

Lisa panicked. "What?"

Natasha raised her eyebrows. "Is there anything wrong?"

Lisa put her calm face back and said, "No, nothing. Did he mention anything?"

Natasha shook her head. "No"

Lisa stood up and went to the elevator. She pressed number ten. She was very nervous, she tried to avoid him yesterday but today she can't do anything. She had to face him. What if he does something to her again? What will she do? After all, he is the boss.

Ughhh... it was just a small kiss.! Why think too much? The elevator door opened. Lisa walked out and went straight to the Presidential Suite.

She gathered all her courage and knocked on the door. "Come in" A voice came.

She opened the door nervously and went inside. Augustus was sitting on a single sofa. He was wearing a grey-coloured suit with a white shirt and grey matching tie. He was wearing his gold-rimmed glasses. He looked very mature and serious when he wore those glasses. Last time, when she saw him wearing those she was completely stunned.

Lisa looked at his lips and she felt that hot sensation on her cheek. Augustus's deep gaze landed on her cheek, which he kissed before. Both kept staring at each other without saying anything.

"Ahem Ahem", Bella Mario who was sitting on the left side of the sofa coughed intentionally. "Shall we start?" Bella asked, looking at Augustus.

Augustus cleared his throat, shifted his gaze away  from Lisa, and said, "Sit down"

Lisa came back to her senses and nodded at Bella and sat on the right sofa maintaining her distance from Augustus.

"Bella has started working on the design in my office, I want you to help her to design it." As Augustus spoke, he returned to his business tone.

"What? But... Mr Augustus.?" Lisa was hesitating. Just then Bella said, "Mr Augustus.? Since when did your employee start saying your name.? Huh..?" She looked at Augustus with a puzzled look.

Augustus shot her a hard stare. She rolled her eyes in displeasure and said, " You don't have to worry. I'll show you designs and you'll have to make it approved by Augustus or if he wants something else. You just need to inform me and I'll do it as he says. Easy right.?" She looked at Lisa and then handed her her business card.

Lisa looked at Bella and then at Augustus. She then took the card from Bella, lowered her head, and said "okay" in a low voice.

"Okay, then let's talk about it further at lunch," Augustus said and stood up. He took Bella's hand and put it on his arm. Bella was stunned a bit that she didn't refuse him. She took her bag and bent down to pick her designs from the table when Augustus said, "Leave it, Lisa will bring it."

Bella smiled and they both left together. Lisa looked at their back in disbelief, just now she was thinking too much, so stupid..!

For Augustus, that kiss was nothing. He is a rich man, who gets what he wants. For them feelings and emotions meant nothing.

Lisa felt disappointed, took the designs, and walked behind them. All three entered the elevator. Augustus  Bella, Lisa.

Bella kept whispering in Augustus's ear and he kept smiling and laughing from time to time. Lisa somehow felt suffocated seeing them so close to each other. She wanted to escape from here as soon as she could.

"Why are you wearing heels.? You're already too tall.." Bella complained to Lisa.

"I like wearing heels", Lisa said bluntly.

Bella pouted and then said, "Augustus.! Tell her to not wear heels next time, she makes me feel conscious about my height."

Lisa ignored her. Augustus held her hand and said in a gentle tone, "Well, I like tiny women like you. Tall woman makes me sick." He said the last sentence in an insulting tone, he was still angry at her for yesterday.

Bella chuckled and said shyly, "You have a good taste in women."

"Man wants small women so they can look down at her because with tall women they feel insecure," Lisa spoke angrily, looking straight, interrupting them both.

Both Augustus and Bella looked at her. "Nobody asked for your advice." Augustus sneered.

"It's a fact," Lisa said sharply.

"Sharp tongue," Bella whispered to Augustus.

The elevator door opened. Lisa went out first in frustration. Bella and Augustus smiled knowingly at each other. Then Bella said loudly, taking her hand back from Augustus. "I'll drive my car to the restaurant, you both go ahead."

Augustus nodded and went straight to sit in his car Lisa followed him quietly. Both sat quietly in the car. Lisa sat in the corner maintaining her distance. A look of displeasure came to Augustus's face. He turned his head to the window and Lisa did the same. Both kept looking outside ignoring each other.

Lester looked at them from the mirror and smiled the way both looking outside and showed a cold attitude toward each other just like kids.

Augustus saw Lester smiling and asked angrily, “What you’re smiling for.?”

Lester got embarrassed and apologized immediately. Lisa turned and looked at Augustus angrily. Augustus also stared back at her. Both kept staring and then turned their heads while folding arms tightly in anger.

Lester saw all that childish behaviour of both. He couldn’t do anything and just secretly sighed in his heart.

The car stopped at the gate of Glass Hostaria Restaurant. It was a highly rated restaurant. It was just a few minutes away from the hotel. The dishes were exquisite and the price was outrageous.

When Lisa’s husband, Tom was alive. She used to go to so many high-profile parties in various high-rated places. So she knew that this restaurant was quite expensive. After her husband's death, she became so poor that she couldn’t afford such a meal at this place.

She felt very hurt and depressed in her heart while walking inside. Augustus felt her sudden change but he ignored it. She got on the second floor with Augustus. Seeing Augustus coming over, a beautiful waitress opened the door of a room, smiled, and greeted him politely.

The antique-decorated room was very spacious, with a huge table that could hold twelve people, and was already filled with food of various types, however, all the chairs were empty except one.

Bella was already seated inside. Augustus took the host’s seat first. Lisa hesitated for a while, then she chose to sit opposite Bella.

Lisa felt a little nervous. The air in the room was awkward. Bella and Augustus started picking food, and Lisa also followed. She felt very depressed remembering Tom so she just chose salad to eat.

While Bella and Augustus were chatting and joking, Lisa felt very furious. She remembered the last time he was teaching her eating etiquette and now he forgot it instantly, what a weird man.

Lisa got so annoyed by them. She took some bites, then put down her fork and said, “I’m full. I’ll leave first.” Then she stood up and looked at Augustus. Augustus totally ignored her. Then she turned around and left angrily.

Lisa didn’t understand what was wrong with her? She tried so hard to not react but still, she got affected by his ignorance towards her. She had already made her decision to keep her distance from him, so then why she is feeling irritated now.

Just when Lisa left, Bella said happily, “Mission succeeded” and patted her shoulders proudly. “I want my necklace as soon as possible.” She then said seriously to Augustus.

“I’ll give you two... happy?” Augustus said calmly.

“Very.. very happy.” Bella smiled and continued eating.

Augustus stood up and walked out of the door while saying, “See you later, Bella. Thanks for helping.”

“No problem,” Bella said with a mouth full of food.

This morning when Bella came to show him designs. He asked Bella to help him to make Lisa jealous of her. She refused at first, and then Augustus tried to bribe her with a diamond necklace. After all, she is a woman so she agreed for the sake of the diamond necklace.

At the gate, Lisa couldn’t stop any taxi and cursed in her heart for coming over here to lunch. She should have refused them but how could she? Ahhh... she felt so irritated she stomped her foot angrily and decided to walk to the hotel.

She started walking and after taking some steps she heard someone calling her name “Miss Lisa.”. She turned around and saw Lester, who was waving his hand at her.
