“Mr President,” Augustus repeated thoughtfully. “Since when did you start calling me Mr President.?” He asked while walking behind her.

Lisa turned around and both bumped into each other. “Ahhh” Lisa let out a surprised cry and rubbed her forehead. Augustus also did the same.

“I should have called you that before, I apologize for my unprofessional behaviour, Mr President.”

Both left the hospital together and saw Lester standing in front of Black Bentley's car. Lisa smiled at Lester and asked, “How are you? Lester.”

“I’m fine Miss Lisa.” He replied smilingly. Augustus who was behind shot a hard glare at Lester. Lester’s smile froze and he went to the side of the car.

“I didn’t misunderstand anything,” Augustus said slowly in Lisa’s ear. His hot breath landed on her neck and ear. She jumped in panic, looking at him shockingly.

She felt a hot sensation behind her hair. And her face turned red instantly. She looked down and her long lashes trembled to cover her panic. Then she said in a low voice, “Only your fiancé has the right to call your name, not an employee.”

Augustus’s eyes darkened and a sharp glint flashed across his face. He stepped forward and trapped her between his body and the car. Lisa retreated and could only lean against his car.

Augustus lowered his head and stared at her firmly. There was a faint smile in his deep blue eyes. Augustus was in a good mood and raised his lips, which made him look even more vicious but handsome.

He then said in a low and deep voice, “You’re not just an employee for me.” He paused trying to figure out her expression but she kept her head low. “You will always call me Augustus no matter what. Don’t you dare to offend me?” He continued.

Then he lowered his head and gently kissed her cheek. She looked up, eyes widened, and touched her cheek in panic.

Augustus looked at her with playful eyes then he turned to sit in the car. Lester followed and sat in the driving seat, while Lisa kept standing hand on her cheek.

“Lisa” Augustus called her. She looked at him. “Let’s go.” He said while waving his hand to sit inside the car.

She looked at the seat beside him, then him, and remembered the kiss right now. She got a bit scared of him. She can’t travel with him. What if he did something to her?

“I’ll go myself, don’t bother Mr Augustus.” She refused him politely and then hurriedly started walking to the other side in fear of being caught by him.

Augustus called her out from behind but she didn’t respond. In fact, she started running away from him as far as she could.

Augustus got confused. “Did I scare her.?”

Lester, who was sitting in the driving seat, didn't know what to say. He helplessly started the car and headed straight to the Hotel. His eyes focused on the road ahead.

When Lisa reached home, she went straight to the bathroom and took a cold shower. Her whole body was on fire since Augustus kissed her unexpectedly. She washed her face many times in irritation but she could still feel the warm sensation on her cheek.

After the bath, she cooked for herself and then started cleaning the house. While cleaning she found the hoodie that Augustus gave her this morning. She thought she should give it back as soon as possible. But by thinking of seeing Augustus she got frightened, what if he kissed her again.?

She had already sent an email for leave when she was in the hospital. So she doesn’t need to go to the hotel today. But she was feeling haunted while looking up at his hoodie. So after thinking for a long time, she decided to give it back to him this evening.

Before heading out she called her assistant, Natasha “Hello..! Natasha is Mr Augustus in his presidential suite.?”

Natasha thought for a while and replied, “Yes, ma’am. Today he delayed an important meeting in the morning. So now, he is having that meeting. It took him a lot of effort to make them agree to have a meeting again after he didn’t attend it in the morning.”

Lisa was stunned by hearing this, she said bye to Natasha and hung up the call. Today he delayed the meeting because he was in the hospital with her and then the kiss. He told her she was not just an employee for him. What does that mean? He even let her call Him by his name. Does it mean he is interested in her? But he is engaged to Giovanna? No .. no .. maybe she is overthinking it. She shook all the thoughts of him away and got dressed.

As of today, she has taken the day off. So, she didn’t wear work clothes, instead, she wore jeans and a simple pink shirt with a cropped jacket. She tied her hair in a ponytail and went out taking a hoodie that was now washed, ironed, and neatly folded.

She took a taxi and came to the Hotel. Anna greeted her, she nodded in return, and then she went straight to the presidential suite. She knocked and Lester opened the door. He saw Lisa and asked in a surprising tone. “Ms Lisa, why are you here?”

“I’m here to give this.” She said while handing him a hoodie. Lester looked at the hoodie, then her, and then inside.

“Ahh...” he hesitated. “Boss is having an important meeting. I am not allowed to disturb him. Do you want to wait.?” He offered Lisa.

“No, no it’s fine. I already knew he was having a meeting. I’ll leave now.” She said politely and turned to the left. What happened in the morning is still fresh in her mind. She deliberately came at this time so she didn’t have to see Augustus again.

Just when she was leaving the hotel, someone called her from behind. She turned and saw Cristian running towards her. “What?” She asked.

“Thank you so much for hiring Natasha.” Cristian thanked her.

“Well... there is no thank you in friendship.” Lisa said teasingly.

“What? Friends? We?” Cristian asked confusingly.

“Aren’t we.?” Lisa exclaimed.

Cristian laughed and said, “yes, we definitely are.” While stretching his arm to shake.

Lisa shook his hand smiling widely. Cristian held her hand with both hands and started rubbing it, “Your hands are cold” he explained.

Lisa didn’t retreat her hand, instead, she felt good about his concern. After all, he is her friend now. After a while, he let go of her hand and said, “here you go, all warm and hot.” He winked at saying the word HOT.

Lisa pinched his arm while faking a stare at him. “I’m hungry. Can you accompany me for dinner.?” Cristian asked while rubbing his arm.

Lisa pretended to think about it then he said, “please...” in a pleading tone.

Lisa pouted and said, “Ok, but I want dessert too.” Cristian chuckled and nodded.

Then he put her hand on his arm and said, “Let’s go.” Both happily walked away like a couple.

In Presidential Suite

Augustus was standing in front of the window. His gaze was on two people’s backs. He looked at the hoodie which Lester gave him and informed him about Lisa. He was so excited to see her. He rushed to the window to see if she had left the hotel or not.

To his surprise, he saw her with another man. He knows him but he didn’t know his name. He got so angry by seeing them so close and especially the smile on her face while talking with him. He shouted in anger, “Lester”

Lester appeared in the room hurriedly. “I want all the details of the employees who attended the meeting of “The Grand Carlos Hotel.” Project.

“Ok boss” Lester nodded and left.

After going out, Lester was puzzled by his boss’s behaviour these days. When he told him about Lisa’s arrival, he was so excited and looked out the window for her like a teenage boy and now there is blood in his eyes. His face was so cold while looking out the window. How can this person’s actions affect him so deeply? It doesn’t look like he just liked her, it looks more than that.

Lisa’s dinner with Cristian went very well. He took her to a Chinese restaurant and they both ate a large meal while chatting with each other. Cristian told her, he has an elder sister who lives with her now. After she got divorced from her husband. She has a son, Antonio. Because her sister is an air hostess so she can’t be able to take care of her son and Cristian is also busy with work.

So they have admitted the child to the Boarding School. Lisa felt sad for that kid and thought of her son. She suddenly lost her appetite but Cristian lifted her mood and told her about his hiking and camping experiences. He is such a great company. At last, he ordered dessert as promised to her.

Then being a gentleman, he sent her back home too. Lisa felt very blessed to have him as a friend. But she still thinks about Augustus no matter how hard she tries she just can’t get over him. But she will try her best to maintain her distance from him in the future.
