The gray dusk sky loomed heavily over Jakarta. Inside Hunter’s penthouse, the atmosphere was even darker. Evalina sat by the window, staring blankly at the silhouettes of towering buildings.
The door creaked open. Hunter walked in with Yudha following close behind.
“You’re still not at ease?” Hunter asked gently, placing a folder on the table.
Evalina shook her head. “I can’t shake this feeling. It’s not over. Sophia isn’t the kind of person who gives up after one court session.”
