The boardroom on the fourteenth floor is sterile. An oval table made of dark glass sits in the center of the room, surrounded by twelve leather chairs. The walls are covered in light gray panels, and the windows look out over the downtown traffic below. In the corner, a small camera on a tripod is already set up, its green recording light blinking. Next to it, the court reporter adjusts her stenograph machine, her fingers tapping the keys in a silent test.
