Chapter 26: Anastasia

I push open the metal door to the basement office of the Vancouve security wing. The air down here is cold, carrying the faint, clean scent of filtered air and electronic equipment. There are no windows, only smooth concrete walls and a long row of fluorescent lights that hum quietly overhead.

Harrison stands near a large, black desk in the center of the room. He is adjusting the cuffs of his shirt, his face expressionless. When he hears the door click shut, he looks up and nods to me.
