Rage filled me. I thought about all the people we’d lost. It was too many. I thought about all the sacrifices we’d made. Sure, we’d won the games, but at was cost.

The cost was too high.

In the cave, the sectors had sent us a sponsor gift. They wanted to let us know that they were watching us. They had pirated the games. Which meant they were watching us now.
