Jade snapped her head at Kelly, and almost ran to her before I pulled her back. Kelly was trying to ignore Scott, she must have had a reason.

“Let us leave, maybe later.” I told Jade but as I turned to look inside the car and saw Scott looking down, I let go of Jade to meet Kelly.

But why was Scott so intimidated? He always wanted to meet his mate so why can’t he fight for her or something?
