Jade’s POV

I breathed in and out. “A girl?” Did I have someone I horridly offend? But why did Devon agree to the crime if he didn’t do it?

Things didn’t add up. I scrutinized my brother’s face to be sure he wasn’t sleep talking but he was fully awake.

“Look, Jake. Devon said he was the one who hurt you, can’t you remember?” I pointed at him, I had already avenged him so he should be sure.
