My footsteps hastened as I saw the nurses running in and out of wards.

Was Jake texting me to come to tell me his last words? Or was I thinking too much?

Jake had only had a collapsed which could be an after effect of a drug he had taken.

“You are thinking too much!” I told myself, but increased my steps again.
