Devon’s POV

My wonderful sleep was stopped by Black coming to tell me that Sel had awoken. And so what if she had?

Did that mean I had to as well? I glared at him so hard my sleepy eyes hurt. His head was down.

“Earlier, you said you’d like to speak to her immediately she wakes up so that’s why I called you immediately she woke up.”

His point made sense but I could see through him, he wanted to frustrate me for wanting her to stay on the ground.

Had he fallen in love with her too? I didn’t understand these...
