Tears streamed down my mother’s eyes as she heard the ode sung for the burial of the kids.
The memories of their small bodies buried under the ground tore her to pieces. I’d know. It tore me down too.
It was a rainy day to hold a burial but I wanted it done and over with so their families could begin healing.
