Scott looked for a place to park at the university. I took out my phone and tried to call Jade, I should have done that before getting in, though.

“Wow, Henry! You figured I’m alive.” Her voice rang out. My brows knitted together. Was that sarcasm? I had always known she was alive.

Ignoring the question, I enquired. “I am at your university. Please tell me you’re here. I came with Clayton and Scott.”
