After coming out of the study room Edward first went on to check on Autumn, when he entered his bedroom he saw her still sleeping peacefully.

He smiled and walked to the bed and sat next to her, he kissed her forehead and murmured, “My sleepy head”

Autumn turned to the other side and slept again.

Edward smiled and went out of the room again; he went to the dining room where Mr. and Mrs. Walker were already waiting for him.

They nodded and sat on their respective chairs while eating Mr. Walker broke the silence.

“Mr. King Autumn is not our biological daughter”

Edward’s hands froze he looked up and Mr. Walker continued, “Actually we adopted her when she was eight years old”

“Her father was a police officer here in NY and some gangster had killed him and his wife in their house, Autumn was saved because her mother had hidden her properly and gangsters couldn’t find her ”

“At that time my son was here for some business and he brought Autumn with him to us and we fell in love with her at first sight, we always wanted to have a daughter”

“My wife couldn’t bear second child because of some complications, Autumn was only eight when Timothy brought her home and we happily adopted her”

“We came here because Autumn wanted to meet her parents on her eighteenth birthday”

Edward felt the pain because Autumn had to suffer all these at such a young age, he swore to give her all the happiness.

Mrs. Walker hesitated and said, “Mr. King it will be good if you marry her as soon as possible “

Edward frowned, he would love to marry her today but what about her brother, where is he? and why her parents don’t want to wait for their son.

He asked, “Mrs. Walker, I would be happy to marry her today, but don’t you want to wait for your son, Autumn loves her brother so much so why not wait for him?”

Till now he had understood how much Autumn loves and trusts her brother, the way she was trying to threaten him all the way, it was visible that her brother protected her well.

Mr. Walker replied immediately said, “No..no Mr. King actually he is on business trip and the place where he went is a remote location, so we are unable to contact him”

“And he will take another six months to come back”

Edward felt it a little weird seeing both husband and wife’s reaction but he didn’t think much about it and he cannot wait for six months for sure. So he said, “Ok, Mr. Walker then we will get married in one week’s time”

Mr. and Mrs. Walker sighed in relief.

Edward asked, "Can you please tell me more about her likes dislikes"

A sweet smile crept on Mrs. Walker’s face as she started talking about Autumn, it was visible even though they were her adoptive parents but they love her very much.

“She loves talking a lot, she is a walking chatterbox she can talk for hours without getting tired”

“She loves white orchids, she doesn’t like wearing revealing dresses, she always wants to wear comfortable dresses”

“She is very kind hearted; she cannot tolerate violence at all”

And Mrs. Walker kept on saying and Edward registered every detail.

After chatting for a long time and finishing their dinner Mr. and Mrs. Walker were about to walk towards their bedroom guided by Zack.

Edward asked, “Mr. Walker, when is her parents' death anniversary?”

Mr. Walker turned around and replied politely, “Tomorrow”

Edward nodded and went to his bedroom, the moment he entered the room he saw Autumn waking up messaging her eyes like kids.

She looks so cute at this moment that it is tough for any man to control himself.

Seeing him Autumn immediately got alert, she said angrily, “who are you and what are you doing in my home”

She was still so sleepy that she didn’t remember what happened before and she thought that she was in her home.

Edward smiled at her silliness, he replied gently, “Yes you are right this is your home, but for that you have to marry me”

The moment he said ‘marry me’ all her gone memory came back in a second.

Her eyes widened in shock that she slept in the man’s house who took away her first kiss.

Her anger rose again and she said, “You madman, where are my parents?”

Edwards loved this new Samara. He always wanted Samara to talk to him but she was always timid and shy but now she is roaring like a lioness.

He sat on the sofa and said, “Princess, your parents are preparing for our wedding.” He wanted to tease her. He liked her cute nose which turned red because of anger.

Autumn got down from the bed and said while walking towards the door, “Marriage my foot, I will never marry you old man”

Edward frowned and before she could touch the doorknob he pulled her back and she hit his hard chest.
