Just before we could stand up to leave, the noise in the hall increased, and everyone was staring at us. Don't even get me started on the side talks that obviously weren't side talks if I could fucking hear them.

They were saying something about some photos. A clear picture about something that I couldn't quite pick up from afar, but they weren't laughing so it was definitely something bad.
