Anna's POV

It hurt to leave, but we had to get food. I made sure we whiled away our time in the aquarium because I wanted to lose touch with my reality for a second, but I guess it was time to come back.

To face the world, to face everyone. I missed my mom, I missed my boss, I missed my sister and brother. Fuck, I just wanted to pause and get a fucking grip.

I knew that leaving here, it would only be a matter of time before I began to swim in my tears, but for now that I was still outside, I was going to smile...
