Sitting in the living room by the fire, Aiko brought a blanket over and wrapped it around me before sitting down beside me.

“You ok?”

He asked me, a genuine concern behind his words but it wasn’t me who he should’ve been worried about, the tension in the lodge could be cut with a chord and I wasn’t part of that tension, both Sara and Jesse had just found out that they were being cheated on and now I’m sure whatever fun we had in store for this vacation it was gone and out the window.
