“What is a human doing here?” one of them asked, as they couldn’t smell her presence.

Ruby was also stunned. They couldn’t sense her. But quickly she had to act fast. “None of you have to be here.” She trembled as they all turned to her.

Then some of them sniffed her from afar. “I can smell a strange presence around her,” then he pulled his sword from his sheathe. “She is part of them.”
