"Something else?" I frowned. "What could be as bad as Lucas's stupidity?"

Jeremy looked away and sighed. "It's the rogues in the cursed land. They've started a rebellion."

"What?!" I gasped in disbelief, my mouth agape as I digested the horrific news. "That's not possible. They can only do that when there's no leader. I thought Lucas already took care of it."

"That's where the problem lies" Jeremy disclosed. "Lucas took over without doing what was considered right in the eyes of the rogues. He didn't announce Rufus' death as planned, and refused to ascend the throne properly. Now, the people are threatening to tear the Black tower...
