"What's the reason behind the curse?" I heard Selene ask, and my blood ran cold.

For some reasons I pretended not to understand, my wolf wanted to see Selene again. His constant pressuring kept me from having my peace. I had to comply for the time being. I got to her doorstep, and that question was what welcomed me.

The reason behind the curse? That was a forbidden truth; something I had always avoided talking about. Why would she want to know about it?

"Why do you care?" I snickered, walking into the room. "You should be bothered about your condition."
