"Stop!" A thunderous voice snapped me out of my daze, sending cold shivers down my spine.

"He's here" I heard Carmen say, and my body shook.

I swallowed hard, following her gaze. "Who's here?"

Fear struck me as my eyes settled on the man I hated with so much passion. Our eyes locked, but I couldn't dare to tear off my gaze from his.

Wait... Why was he heading towards us?

"Stay calm, Selene. Don't do anything stupid and blow up my cover" Carmen warned sternly, her voice low.
