First, my mate chewed off my nuts, and now this?

Thank the goddess I had a very forgiving mate--- although this was borderline exploitation of her kind nature.

I got out of the car, following the five counsel members' lead. Not very surprisingly, we'd been halted at the borders by familiar Silver Moon wolves, that denied us access until Alpha Cedrick had given them permission to let us proceed. They didn't care, that the Counsel – in theory anyway – outranked their alpha.

They did NOT want to get on their alpha's bad side.
