When I walked through the door, my heart jumped to my throat. They were rogues this time. Skinny, rough around the edges, and not pleasing to look at.

Rogue wolves were rare but extremely dangerous. They lost their humanity the second they left their packs, and most of them were killed on sight; especially if the pack was close to human settlements like ours was.
