"My beloved, I love you, and I have never changed." I answered him affirmatively.

 

Edward smiled, but his eyes were full of doubts. "But I've become darker and crueler. Aren't you afraid of me?"

 

"I trust you," I held his hand tightly. "I know you are a brave and righteous person. You will make the right decision to protect the person you love."

 

Edward's face softened and he hugged me tightly.

 

"Thank you for your support. I love you." he lowered his head and looked at me affectionately, with tenderness and gratitude in his eyes. "I can't wait to be with you again."
