Another terrible thing happened last night.

 

After my first kiss was taken away by Charles, I woke up naked next to a stranger.

 

I pushed him away and after he fell, I could see his face clearly.

 

He had short black hair, pale complexion, deep eye sockets, and thick long eyelash that tremble slightly with his breath. The strong alcohol smell on his body made me instantly understand what caused the trouble yesterday.

 

I picked up my clothes and fled from this place before he woke up.

 

Edward opened his eyes, the hangover made him feel a headache. He seemed to have slept with a woman last night.

 

He couldn't remember the woman's appearance clearly, but he remembered her soft body and warm body temperature.

When I returned home, I could tell from the expressions of my father and mother that they had already learned about everything that had happened at school.

 

Dad looked at me coldly and said sternly, "You've disappointed me too much, Alice. The story of you hanging out with other wolves has spread throughout the town. This has put our entire family to shame.”

 

“I think you are a walking sexually transmitted disease, and no Mate will accept you.”

 

I cried when I heard my mother's words. Wolf packs were all social, and werewolf without a spouse would be lonely for a lifetime. I didn't want to live my life alone!

 

“My Mate will accept me, he will definitely!”

 

Katherine smiled happily when she saw my crying.

 

“I should have kicked you out of the wolf pack in order to preserve the reputation of the family.”

 

Dad said seriously.

I knelt down and grabbed my dad's pants, begging him to give me another chance. I came up with something that might save me.

 

The day after tomorrow would be my 18th birthday. On the day of adulthood, each werewolf would have a Mate appearing, and the Mates would be attracted to each other by their scent. If the man last night was my Mate, then everything would make sense.

 

“The man last night was my Mate, and I can feel the connection from him!”

 

“Alice, you should swear what you said is true,” Dad frowned.
