Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Arina is just an ordinary girl. But who would have thought that her fate would change. She is now in the middle of a war in a foreign world that she never even knew that existed.

Arina's life goes on as usual. Go to campus and busy with college routines. Doing assignments from lecturers. Nothing special. Sometimes she gets bored. However, Arina realizes that this is the life that many people live. Nothing will change. Just like the others, after graduation she would work, then marry, have children, grow old, and finally close her eyes forever. That is what will happen if there is no tragedy in the middle of the journey of life.

       Sets ... sets ... sets ....

A fast swinging hand interrupted Arina's daydream. Immediately the long-haired girl turned and glared at Cynthia, her best friend.

"You've been daydreaming in the morning, isn't it okay, Miss," she said.

"I'm just bored. Life is like a routine. There are no surprises or anything changes."

       "Change? What's changed?"

       Ariana shrugged.

"I don't know, maybe I'm just bored."

        Cynthia smiled.

"Perhaps one day you will be grateful that we live an ordinary life. Imagine if we lived on a battlefield, how could we sit and chat comfortably like now?"

       Arina nodded with a smile.

"You're right, but this life is too monotone."

Cynthia burst into tears. She then took out a rather large piece of paper from her bag.

"Instead of being bored, it's better to come with me to watch them," she said, holding out a paper.

"Who are they?" Arina asked with a glance. There were three handsome young men on the poster. Cynthia laughed again, shaking her head at her friend's question.

"How can your life not be boring? You don't even know who they are. They're a rising boyband Tristar. Girls are crazy about them now. At first glance they look like Korean idols," Cynthia said with an exasperated tone. Her best friend was too nerdy, she didn't even know what was popular right now.

"I'm not interested," said Arina as she returned the poster sheet. Then she quickly got up.

"Hey, at least accompany me!" Cynthia exclaimed. Arina turned around, raised her glasses that were almost drooping, then shook her head.

"Exams are coming soon, I should just study," she said.

"Tsk," Cynthia complained, "no wonder your life is boring."

Arina studies until late at night. She is known to be very hardworking and successful. At a glance, the girl glanced at the circular clock hanging on the wall of the light blue room. The hands of the clock showed twelve o'clock. It's so late. But she was used to studying until the dawn.

'There is something strange. Why does my body feel tired and my eyes are so heavy? I've learned everything, maybe I should get some rest,' the girl muttered to herself. She finally gave up, even though she wanted to repeat the lesson one more time.

The girl then lay down on her bed with light blue sheets. Before long she had fallen asleep, she is not noticing a ray of light coming out of the large mirror attached to the wardrobe. The light grew brighter and brighter. Before finally disappearing and Arina was no longer in bed.

The morning sun shining through the leaves disturbed Arina's sleep. Those beautiful eyes slowly blinked open. Dumbfounded confused by the situation around her.

She was no longer in her bed, but in a place that resembled a forest. Trees grew tall all around her. Likewise various plants and weeds.

Immediately she got up to clean the leaves and dirt stuck to her clothes and hair. Arina then looked around once more.

'Where am I? Why am I here? Could it be that I was kidnapped?' she said in her heart.

'Otherwise, this must be just a dream.' She gently tapped his cheek hard. The girl immediately groaned in pain.

'This isn't a dream, it means I was kidnapped. I have to get out of here.'

Before Arina could take a step, three young men in armor appeared. Their hair is long. One of them at the very front drew a sword at Arina's neck. The girl's body trembled for a moment and she fell to the ground.

"Don't blame me if you abduct the wrong people," she said in a trembling voice.

"Hey, hey, Rion, lower your sword," said the young man standing on the left. Her cute and innocent face almost resembles that of a child. He smiled kindly at Arina. Even so, Arina was still scared.

"I Will not!" said the young man who was still wielding the sword. His glare almost icy. Arina stumbled backwards. Tears were almost running down her face. Her parents probably couldn't paying for these strangely dressed kidnappers, so she would to die now.

"You can't look that she's so scared. How can you draw a sword at her?" said the same young man again.

"Shut up, Erland, don't interfere!" snapped that young man beside him in a booming voice.

Erland just shrugged his shoulders while gesturing to the other young man.

"Rion, have you forgotten about the prophecy about the arrival of the princess. Didn't we come here to look for her?"

Suddenly the young man named Rion burst out laughing.

"You mean this ugly girl the princess? No way. She must be just a swindler sent by the queen who wants to outwit us."

"I... I don't know what you guys are talking about. But don't ever call me ugly!" cried Arina as she stood up. She was just trying to be brave because the young man named Rion had insulted her.

Rion again drew his sword at Arina. His eyes stared intently at the girl.

"You see, she's just pretending. We'd better kill her now," he said as he prepared to swing his sword. Arina screamed loudly. She also closed her eyes tightly.

"Don't kill me. My parents will definitely pay you back. Right now they must be looking for a loan!"

        Arina felt no pain.

'Am I dead?' She wondered. Slowly she opened her eyes. Erland suddenly appeared in front of her with a smile. The girl screamed in surprise.

"Relax, no one will kill you. Me and Aldrich won't let it happen," he said. The girl then saw Rion talking to another young man named Aldrich.

"Let the girl live. I don't think she's a spy. If she really is a princess, aren't you making a big mistake?" persuaded Aldrich in a calm voice. Everyone knows what Rion is like. Cold and heartless. If you insist, then Rion will fight even more.

"If one day she really is a spy, I will take responsibility and kill her with my own hands. Ok?" asked Aldrich again.

"There's no need to question it," said Arina.

"I just want to go home. I don't know about the spies you guys are talking about. Can you guys be generous and take me home?"

Arina stepped back with a frightened expression again as Rion turned and walked over to her quickly. He gripped Arina's arm tightly until the girl winced in pain.

"You're not going anywhere. Now that you're in our custody, don't expect to get away!" he hissed.
