I came back to meet Lily in the sitting room with a glass of juice and I sat in front of her.

"You know that Eric will get mad when he knows you came to visit me. He has people tailing your every move." I informed her and she sipped her juice.

"You didn't say much last night and I couldn't even bear to look at you yesterday because I was so shameful. I felt the need to come over to explain what really happened to you. I don't want anything to come between us..."
