Ava's POV 

Jasper was punctual to his very core. Right after he told me that we would leave in twenty minutes, he ate his dinner. He was eating air. Even after I told him that he did not need to hurry that much and to slow down, he did not. He just ignored my comment and ate all of it in a hurry. 

Watching him hurry like that made me feel guilty. Maybe I should have talked about my check up after the meal, then at least he would eat his meal with peace. Internally, I shook my head. His hurried pace was so unnecessary, but whatever.
