Ava's POV 

The meeting had put me in a state of mind that I could hardly pull myself from. The most annoying thing was that I did not know how Charlotte would behave with me. Now, that she was scolded by the CEO of the company.

Because of me. 

I pushed my thoughts away and began doing my work that was left undone from yesterday. I pushed myself to focus and started working on the last dresses. 

All of a sudden, somebody tapped on my shoulder. I glanced up and almost let out a growl. 

Almost. I managed to keep it in. 

"Why are you so late today for...
