The day before…

Devon was awoken by his light slumber due to a persistent knock on the door. He got up sluggishly, turning to see if the noise had awakened Alice but she was still fast asleep.

He opened the door to see Liam "what took you so long!" 

"Keep your voice down" Devon snapped back Liam. He turned back to check if Alice had woken up, but it didn't seem like it.

"When did you arrive" He asked.

"About an hour ago, I need to talk to you" Liam quickly replied. 

"Can't it wait till morning?" Devon yawned looking at his brother who shot a glare at him.
